Member Monday: Rosalie Keesey


Happy Monday! This week's Member Monday is dedicated to Rosalie Keesey. She is a sophomore, public relations major from Flemington, NJ.

 

Q: What year are you?

I'm a sophomore, graduating in 2024.


Q: What is your major/minor?

Public Relations Major


Q: Where are you from?

I'm from Flemington, NJ


Q: How long have you been a member of PRSSA?

This is my first semester being a member of PRSSA


Q: Why do you love PRSSA? What do you hope to get out of it?

I love PRSSA because of the knowledge and connections that it brings people; It is a great opportunity for all PR lovers to broaden their horizons. I hope to get friends and career opportunities out of PRSSA, as well as continuing my PR knowledge.


Q: What committee are you a part of? What have you done with this committee?

Since I am so new, I'm not set on a committee but I plan to be a part of the PR committee because that's where my passion is.


Q: What PRSSA events have you participated in?

So far I haven't participated in any PRSSA events but I'm very excited for the events this year and to be able to contribute to all of them.


Q: What other TU organizations are you a part of?

I am also a part of PPGTU (planned parenthood generation temple university) as of recently and am on the e-board of that club.


Q: Coolest place you’ve ever traveled to?

The coolest place I've traveled to is probably Pompeii, but my favorite city I've traveled to is Madrid.


Q: Favorite social media platform and why?

My favorite social media platform is Tiktok because of how personalized the app is; I think it is amazing how anyone can have their videos blow up overnight even if they started out with no followers.


Q: Dream job?

My dream job is to be an international communications head for a large-scale company; I plan to get a concentration in international communications and want to be able to make a difference on a global scale.
