On November 10, Paige Nicholas was our membership spotlight! This is her first semester in PRSSA, and she's really standing out! Here is a Q & A with her!
Q: Where are you from? What is your major/minor?
I am a Public Relations major from Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Q: How long have you been a member of PRSSA?
This is my first semester in PRSSA and I absolutely love it.
Q: Why do you love PRSSA? What do you hope to get out of it?
I love PRSSA because I am able to build close relationships with other public relations majors here at Temple, advance my professional career, and network with potential employers.
Q: What committee are you a part of? What have you done with this committee?
I am on the fundraising committee. I have helped run PRSSA’s first fundraiser of the year, Snack on a Stick which was a huge success (plus, super fun!!)!!
Q: What PRSSA events have you participated in?
So far this year, I have participated in the Devine + Partners agency tour, Seer Interactive agency tour, Grace Cafe community service event, and Snack on a Stick fundraiser.
Q: What other TU organizations are you a part of?
I am a member of A Moment of Magic and Eye to Eye!
Q: Coolest place you’ve ever traveled to?
The coolest place I’ve ever traveled to is Sedona, Arizona. The views were surreal and absolutely breathtaking.
Q: Favorite social media platform and why?
My favorite social media platform is my Instagram (@paigenicholas1), because I can create a virtual scrapbook of my life that I get to reflect on later.
Q: Dream job?
My dream job is to be an event planner in New York City!
