How to Survive a Long College School Day

Freshmen, transfers, first years! Welcome to Temple! Everyone else, welcome back! As we head into the 2019-2020 school year, I thought it would be best to share my tips and tricks to survive a long college school day.

Yes, classes are shorter than high school, but your day can get filled up pretty quickly. From 50-minute classes to two-and-a-half hour classes it can be a struggle sometimes.

Tip #1: Get as much sleep as you can and try to go to bed early anticipating your next day.

Tip #2: If you’re a coffee drinker (like me) that always gives me a boost to start my day.

Tip #3: Pinpoint certain times in your day you can look forward to that motivates you to keep

going.

Tip #4: Take a break from homework. Hang out with your friends or spend time alone to relax.

Tip #5: Make the most of your classes. Remember when you wanted to come to Temple so bad? You’re here! Time to shine and show everyone what you’re made of.

College isn’t all about work; it’s some of the best years of your life. Live with no regrets and

strive here.
